RYT-200, LMT, Reiki Instructor
I have been practicing yoga, meditation and mindfulness since 2009. I began teaching in 2016, then practicing and teaching reiki and massage.
I love all types of yoga, and I resonate most deeply with yin yoga and astanga, a very athletic type of yoga that was stepped-down into power yoga. I have found yin yoga to be the best support for being super active, and it is essential for aging as well as recovering. Fortunately, it is adaptable to every body.
WHY do I do what I do?
Personally, I love yoga because I am always focused on self-improvement and becoming more. I love a good challenge, and as any athlete of life knows, the biggest challenges often come from within. I like to share the practices that I have found over the years because they can be so profoundly helpful. There are practices for every moment in life, especially the rough ones. The deepest practices of yoga cannot be seen, and so it is a powerful support to any body in any situation, even if you are physically incapacitated. That’s what I am here to share.
“Yoga is cessation of the patterning of the mind.”
